Jackson County, Georgia Cemeteries

It is written in stone - Gone, but not forgotten.

   I started transcribing the cemeteries in Jackson County, Georgia in 1999 for a book I am having published. This has been a 6 1/2 year project. I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have personally transcribed and walked each one of these cemeteries myself. I intend for this to be the most comprehensive cemetery book for Jackson County.

    I have found many unknown and unmarked graves. I have also found a good many cemeteries that are marked with nothing but fieldstones and rocks. I am trying to identify as many unknown and unmarked graves as I can. This is where I need your help.

    If you have any relatives that are buried in any unknown, unmarked or forgotten cemeteries in the current day boundies of Jackson County, Georgia or bible records and would like this information included in the book (you will receive credit for the information in the book) please E-Mail me or contact at 568 Rock Forge Road, Jefferson, Ga.
